Ladies Day at the Sandy River Spey Clave

It's pretty simple - recommend a guide, lodge or river that you think rocks here. Alternatively, ask for feedback about an area as well.

Thanks for posting this. Man i am so bummed i can't make it 'cause i need to go build another flipping cabin! I mean, i am excited about the cabin and all, but all this work gets in the way of my fishing fun!

I hope you ladies have a wonderful time, and please invite me next year again.

Just wanted to bring this topic and event to everyone's attention again. If you can make it, please do. It is a fabulous event and i wish i could be there again this year, however will be next.

The list of lady presenters is much larger than last year, and there will be many people on hand to help you out with any questions regarding angling that you may have, as well as a plethora of rods, reels and lines to try out.

Have fun! :)

This years Clave was awesome! 250 people showed for ladies day. All the ladies had fantastic presentations. Katari Clay talked about Skagit lines, Racheal Andras showed us how to spey cast with a single handed rod, Adrienne Comeau's presentation on presenting a fly to catch Steelhead had people in the crowd saying "thats how you do it."
Whitney and Dawn gave anglers the basic definitions to get you started, Anne Tattam showed us how to land wild fish and get a good photo without harming the fish, Amy Hazel showed the crowd how to correct tailing loops and other casting faults and Nicole reinfored the basics. It was a load to take in and digest and get people stoked on fishing with a double handed rod. :D The weekend was filled with casting, talking about fishing, and having a good time. Heres a few photos. Hope to see ya next year! RT

Thanks for the wonderful update. I am so disappointed that i could not be there this year, however - look out 2011! ;)

Glad it was such a success, and i think that a massive kudos is in order for you, as all the amount of hard work you and the other ladies do to organize such an event is monumental. Great job ladies! And, thank you to all of the ladies who attended and helped promote the sport of fly angling. :)
