Due to being away for over two weeks right when you posted, i didn't see this post and it got dropped off of the active topic list. :? Ooops.

Anyhoo, as you know Bulls eat just about anything. Large and leechy is best in my opinion, but they also like dries, and just about everything in between. ;)

Upon closer inspection I believe bull trout dig conehead rabbit leeches, especially the ones from the Flystop. They also seem to like skated Turk's Tarrantulas and tube flies tied by someone named Christina.

I had to add this picture. Little but very beautiful brook trout (the picture was taken at dusk and doesn't begin to do it justice) caught on my new/old bamboo 3 wt. Brookies have to be my favourite fish!

Fishing for brookies is such a hoot and to give life back to an 85 year old rod is also fun! These guys are really tuned in to dries right now and this one leaped out of the water to grab the fly before it had even touched. I only caught two on the evening but lost count on how many came out of the water, smacked the fly and took off. They spent the evening drowning flies and silly me left the floatant in the car!
