What a beautiful bird. When I saw the title Loons I thought it was some derogatory term for a raving nutter or a BC equivalent for a redneck as we call them Hoons here :lol: Pat.

Amazing photos Vicki!

We have nesting Loons on our lake, but i have yet to get photos of them on the nests. Loon calls are one of the most surreal sounds to me.

I love falling asleep at night listening to the loon calls echoing across the lake. That or the whippoorwills. :D They are the best sounds on earth.
